Pamela Greiner

“Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die tomorrow.”

When Pamela Greiner-Labelle’s then two-year-old daughter accidentally hit her breast one morning in bed, she thought nothing of it.

And when it stayed sore for a few days, she thought nothing of that either. It was only when her doctor sent her for a precautionary ultrasound that she received the devastating cancer diagnosis in early February, 2010.

“I felt like I was going to pass out,” recalls Pamela, president and CEO of the Business Exchange Magazine. “It’s been a blessing and a curse. It’s opened my eyes to who is worth having in my life and who isn’t.”

Perhaps even more importantly, the self-described soft-spoken fighter and breast cancer survivor discovered that the true value of life has nothing to do with what you accumulate, but how you live.

“I’ve learned that the most valuable things in life are having great relationships and good health and not the balance in your bank account. I try to live in the moment and find happiness—regardless of the situation.”
